Florida offensive lineman Jessamen Dunker was arrested and charged with stealing a scooter yesterday. Dunker is charged with vehicle theft, a third-degree felony, and driving with a suspended license, a misdemeanor.
He was pulled over for riding a scooter on the University of Florida campus without a license plate. After police checked, it was determined the scooter had been reported stolen.
Dunker’s attorney says his client paid $600 for the scooter and was unaware it had been stolen. Dunker, from Boynton Beach, is expected to battle for a starting job this spring with the Gators.
