BJ Young, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound sophomore guard from St. Louis, Mo., was named SEC Player of the Week after recording game-highs with 26 points and 13 rebounds against Northwestern State. Young concluded the evening with his second career double-double and his first of this season. He was just three assists away from knocking down the first triple-double of his career as he finished with seven assists. On the season, Young is leading the Arkansas Razorbacks with 17.5 points and 4.4 assists while adding 4.7 rebounds per game. The Northwestern State game marked the fifth time this season that he has reached the 20-point mark and more than doubled his previous season-high (5) for rebounds.
