Two Missouri high school football teams are up for the USA Today’s “Best Rivalry in the Midwest” competition. Brookfield and Marceline are among 12 choices for the most heated rivalry.
The two teams have played for the 30-pound brass bell since 1937 – although the series dates back to 1909. You can vote for the rivalry at USA Today’s contest page. Voting on the regional competition ends Wednesday morning at 10:00. Winners of the regional competition move on to the national finals.
