A bank in Farmington is buying nine of the 750 Bank of America branches that Bank of America plans to sell or close in the next few years.
Farmington’s First State Community bank is guying banks in Kennett, Jackson and Cape Griardeau, Boonville, Mexico and Moberly, along with banks in Richland, Rolla, and vandalia.
The purchases will give First State Communty Bank 46 branches and 1.7-dillion dollars in assets.
