Missouri Western 21, Northwest Missouri 20

Missouri Western scored with 1:07 to play as the outscored NWMSU 21-3 in the second half to win the MIAA Championship. The Griffons trailed 17-0 at the half, but scored 14 points in the final six minutes to complete the come from behind victory.

For the Griffons Travis Partridge was 19 of 26 for 207 yards and two touchdowns rushing for 25 yards and the game winning score. Michael Hill carried the ball 19 times for 121 yards while Tyron Crockom and Tarrel Downing each caught touchdown passes. On defense Wallace Carter led the team with nine tackles and Shane Simpson added eight stops. For the Bearcats Trevor Adams was 22 of 35 for 232 yards and a touchdown. Jordan Simmons carried the ball 14 times for 54 yars and one touchdown. On defense DJ Gnader had eight tackles and Travis Manning picked off a Griffon pass.

Southwest Baptist 43, Lincoln 12

Southwest Baptist scored the first 36 points of the game as they closed out the season with a 43-12 victory at home. SBU racked up 430 yards of total offense and recovered three Blue Tiger fumbles.

For the Bearcats Dan Connors was 17 of 29 for 268 yards and four touchdowns. Justin Duhaney caught seven passes for 185 yards and three scores. For the defense Jameson Manuma and Shaquille Shedd each finished with eight total tackles. Jacob Morris who was 26 of 45 for 205 yards as he hit Maurice Woodard eight times for 73 yards to lead the Blue Tigers. On the ground Donald Malone carried the ball seven times for 20 yards and a touchdown. On defense Josh Smith had six tackles and picked off a Bearcat pass.

Pittsburg State 26, Missouri Southern 14

Trailing 14-10 Pittsburg State scored the games final 16 points to close out the regular season with a 26-14 win at Missouri Southern. The Gorillas racked up 371 yards of total offense and held the Lions to just 253 total yards.

For the Gorillas John Brown, Luke Rampy and Jason Spradling all score touchdowns on the ground as PSU rushed for 299 total yards. Briceton Wilson led the balanced ground attack carrying the ball 14 times for 80 total yards. On defense Nate Dreiling had nine total tackles and forced a fumble. For the Lions Ne’Ronte Threatt carried the ball 11 times for 144 yards and two touchdowns. Kellen Cox passed the ball for 37 yards and carried the ball for 18 in the season finale. On defense Aaron Hall led the way with 11 total tackles as Brandon Williams finished with two sacks.

Lindenwood 38, Truman 13

Lindenwood took an early 14-3 lead and made that hold up as they earned a 38-13 victory on the road. The Lions racked up 539 yards of total offense to move to 8-3 overall on the season.

The Lions were led by Denodus O’Bryant who carried the ball 24 times for 171 yards and two touchdowns. Andrew Helmick caught 10 passes for 213 yards and two touchdowns. On defense Connor Harris added 13 tackles and Pierre Desir picked off a pass. For the Bulldogs Taylor Breen was 8 of 15 passing for 123 yards and a touchdown. Garret White caught three passes for 72 yards and a score. On defense Michael Elliot had 14 total tackles and Robert Gayden picked off two passes
