Central Missouri needed a shootout to pull out a 3-2 victory over Southwest Baptist earn a chance to host the semi’s and finals of the MIAA Women’s Soccer Tournament.

The scoring got started 15th minute as Karla Jamison scored off a pass from Amy Bolton to give SBU the 1-0 advantage. UCM would not answer until the 65th minute when Audrey Copenhaver scored her first goal of the season off a pass from Carly Stanley. The Jennies would then take a 2-1 lead as Cindy Lackey scored off a pass from her sister Becky Lackey. Jamison would not things up as she scored unassisted for her seventh goal of the season. After two scoreless overtimes UCM took the penalty shootout period 3-1 to survive and move on.

Central Missouri will face Northeastern State at 6 p.m. on Nov. 2 from South Recreaton Complex in Warrensburg, Mo.
