Missouri Tiger head coach Gary Pinkel says he James Franklin will not play this week against Kentucky. However, he anticipates Franklin being ready at Florida on Nov. 3. Pinkel thinks that everyone shouldn’t be pointing the finger at Corbin Berstresser. Pinkel says if everyone ups their play around him, Corbin will play better.

Kentucky head coach Joker Phillips has had his share of quarterback issues as well, playing their third and fourth string quarterbacks. While they have their own offensive issues, Kentucky will rely on their defense. Phillips said his front seven won a lot of individual battles last week in a five point loss to Georgia. Phillips said his young secondary, which features several true freshman on their two-man depth chart, must keep Mizzou’s receivers in front of them.
