A St. Louis attorney has been charged with mail fraud for allegedly keeping insurance money owed to his clients.
45-year-old Stephen B. Evans is accused of illegally collecting between 70,000 and 120,000 dollars from 2007 to 2012. Evans’ license was suspended in March.
He faces up to 20 years for each of three charges.
