A Jefferson City lawyer has been charged for bringing drugs into the Cole County Jail on Sunday.
32-year-old Thomas Robbins is charged with attempting to deliver a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine and amphetamine.
The prosecutor says Robbins was trying to deliver the drugs to an inmate. He faces up to seven years in prison for each charge.
