Missourians still won’t have a chance to hear the candidates for Attorney General square off on the same stage.

As a matter of tradition, the Missouri Bar has held a debate during its annual meeting, but will not hold it if not all candidates agree to participate.

Democrat incumbent Chris Koster and Libertarian candidate Dave Browning accepted the Bar’s invitation. Republican candidate Ed Martin, who has criticized Koster for refusing or ignoring other invitations, did not respond to the Bar’s invitation by Thursday’s deadline.
