Mizzou Madness returns to Mizzou Arena.  For the first time since the 2006-07 season, the Mizzou basketball team has invited fans for the opening night of practice, tipping off a highly-anticipated first season of play in the Southeastern Conference. Both the Tiger men’s and women’s programs will showcase their new look teams and will open the evening with an extended autograph session, now beginning at 5:30 p.m. Doors to Mizzou Arena will now open at 5:30 p.m. (previously scheduled for 6 p.m.), giving fans extra time to get autographs of their favorite student-athletes.

Also featured during the evening are scrimmages from both teams, combined skills competitions, highlight videos, public addresses from Coach Pingeton and Coach Haith and a banner raising from Missouri’s 2012 Big 12 Championship won last season at Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo.

Tickets and parking for Mizzou Madness are free. Fans will be asked to remove their vehicles from parking lots by 10 p.m. in preparation for the Oct. 13 football game vs. Alabama.
