The 9th ranked Mizzou soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss at Tennessee, dropping to 10-2 overall and 5-1 in Southeastern Conference play.  Both teams had one shot on goal in the first half. Senior Haley Krentz had Mizzou’s best offensive chance early in the second half when she gathered a pass from junior Alyssa Diggs and clanked a shot of the crossbar from the left corner of the box.

Tennesse scored in in the 59th minute when Hannah Wilkinson’s pass across the box found Tori Bailey for a touch shot past the outstretched arms of Mizzou goalkeeper McKenzie Sauerwein.  With less than five minutes left in the game, Missouri earned a free kick deep in Tennessee’s end. Krentz passed to Dominique Richardson, who’s 25-yard shot bounced off the crossbar. Sophomore Kaysie Clark fired a shot in the lower left corner of the net in th e86th minutes, but she was ruled offsides and the goal was wiped off.
