The Northwest Missouri State football team jumped one spot Monday in the American Football Coaches Association Top 25. The Bearcats still sit outside the top 10 at No. 12 after a 48-10 win over Fort Hays State.
Northwest is joined by the same trio of MIAA teams in the top 25 as Pittsburg State held steady at No. 1 after a 52-9 rout at Southwest Baptist. Missouri Western moved up one spot to No. 7 as Washburn also moved up one spot to No. 8 after holding off Northeastern State 24-20.
