The Columbia Cougar women’s soccer team beat Benedictine University of Springfield, IL., by a score of 11-1. The Cougars picked up their first win the in program history since adding the program this fall.
The Cougars led 7-0 at halftime. Natausha Sanchez, Amanda Caldwell (two goals), Elise Castellanos, Stephanie Hale, Rylee Bruhn and Taylor Goddard scored goals in that first half. Â Mackenzie Booth, Kelly McCreary, Kelli Westhues and Kelly Ross added the second half goals. Erica Ramirez got her first start in goal, taking the win.
