Stephen Strasburg allowed two hits over six scoreless innings, striking out nine as the Washington Nationals beat the Cardinals 4-3.

The Cardinals rallied in the seventh after Strasburg left with three hits against reliever Sean Burnett, including Daniel Descalso’s two-run homer to make it a 2-2 game, but in the bottom of the inning, Ian Desmond and Danny Espinosa hit two-out RBI singles to give Washington the lead.

Lance Lynn took the loss, dropping to 13-6 on the year.
