Defensive tackle Jay Woods, who has been near the top of the Kentucky football team’s recruiting wish list for months, will announce his college decision as early at Thursday afternoon and the Wildcats are among his final three. Woods, a 6-foot-2, 280-pound senior for Jackson High School, is focusing on Georgia, Kentucky and Vanderbilt. Missouri, Clemson and Georgia Tech are other schools he has been considering.
