An Ava man has been sentenced to five years in prison for receiving child pornography over the internet.
38-year-old David Hicks pleaded guilty in February to the charge. Authorities found images on computers in his home of pornography including some with children under 12 years old.
A co-defendant, 28-year-old Ronnie Landon who was living in the same home, has been convicted and is awaiting sentencing.
