Thousands of people turned out Friday night at a benefit concert for a Marine injured in a 2010 tour in Afghanistan.
The benefit for Corporal Tyler Huffman of Fulton featured a concert by the Lieutenant Dan Band, featuring actor Gary Sinise, whose character in the movie Forrest Gump is the namesake for the band.
Proceeds will go toward building a smart home for Huffman, who is paralyzed.
