Lance Berkman, out since mid-May from knee surgery, is skipping minor league rehab assignments and has joined the Cardinals in Cincinnati. Berkman is expected to be activated to the roster sometime during this six game road trip to Cincy and Milwaukee. I’ve seen some reports that say he could be activated as soon as Saturday. Berkman has played in only 13 games this season. He is batting .333 (14-for-42) with eight runs and four RBIs
