What a week for Kansas City Royals prospect Wil Myers. He’s only played in two games in the last six days, but picked up four hits and four RBIs and an MVP Award. Myers, who plays for Omaha, helped the Pacific Coast League snap a three game losing streak to the International League with a 3-0 victory in the Triple-A All-Star Game Wednesday night in Buffalo, NY.

Myers went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run scored to claim the MVP honor. The Royals’ prospect delivered an RBI single in the first inning and scored the PCL’s final run after a leadoff double in the fourth. A great way to wrap up a busy week that started in Kansas City, where Myers picked up two hits and three RBIs on Sunday in the All-Star Futures Game in Kansas City.
