The stepfather of a 14-year-old boy has been charged with first degree murder in the fatal shooting of the teenager yesterday in Springfield.
Springfield Public School officials identified the victim as Trevor Reynolds. Police say he was shot by 64-year-old William Jones.
The 9th grader was found dead from a gunshot wound to the chest yesterday afternoon at the family’s home.
