Former Governor Roger Wilson has asked for probation related to a misdemeanor charge of laundering campaign contributions. He was indicted and pleaded guilty in April, accused of laundering campaign contributions to the Missouri Democratic Party through a St. Louis law firm when he was president and CEO of Missouri Employers Mutual.

Wilson and a partner in that law firm who also pleaded guilty, Ed Griesedieck, face up to six months in prison. The Supreme Court has suspended Griesedieck’s law license.

Sentencing for the pair is scheduled for Monday.
