After striking out his first time up, Royals third basemen Mike Moustakas snapped an 0 for 15 slump by hitting an RBI double in the third and then hit his first career grand slam in the seventh to help lead the Royals to an 11-3 win over the Toronto Blue Jays.

Catcher Salvador Perez hit a two run homer and six Royals had multi-hit games to back starting pitcher Everett Teaford who went seven innings for his first win of the year. Teaford was charged with all three runs and gave up a homer to Jose Bautista, his 27th of the season.  Former Cardinals Colby Rasmus also added a solo shot off Teaford.
