A Caseyville, Illinois policeman chasing suspected shop-lifters into Missouri is in fair condition after crashing his car in St. Louis. Officer Jeff Wilkinson was trapped in his car when it caught fire but was rescued by a St.Louis officer who had a fire extinguisher and rescue workers who had to unbend a brake pedal that had caught Wilkinson’s foot. The people he was chasing got away.
