Several customers of a defunct St. Louis County auto dealer are filing lawsuits to cancel their purchases because the company took hundreds of dollars in payments and never delivered vehicle titles. Buyers say they cannot legally drive their cars if they don’t have the titles–which makes no difference to a finance company that is demanding they make payments on loans they took to get the cars.

The dealership, Auto Credit Mart, has closed.

The Attorney General’s office has started an investigation.
