Team USA is among eight teams that will participate in the International Federation of American Football Under-19 World Championship, which begins with first round games on June 30 and ends with the gold medal game on July 7. The roster is made up of 45 players who will represent the United States and five are from the state of Missouri and three have pledged verbal commitments to play for Mizzou.

They are: OL Alec Abeln, of St. Louis University High,  QB Trent Hosick of Staley and athlete Chase Abbington of Fort Zumwalt South.

The tournament features eight teams from around the world including Canada, Japan, Panama, Austria, France, Sweden and American Samoa.
