An Independence woman will go to prison for more than five years for hate crimes. Teresa Witthar and two men went into a bi-racial man’s mobile home in 2006 and wrote 15 or more racial slurs on his walls. The home was burned down just a few days later. Charles Wilhelm and David Martin have also pleaded guilty and will be sentenced next month.
