The president of Central Methodist University has decided to retire next year. Marianne Inman’s 17-year term as president has seen a nearly five- fold increase in CMU student enrollment, growth in revenue from $8.5 million in 1995 to $26 million this past year and expansion to sites across the state including partnerships with community colleges and other organizations. Her retirement will be effective June 30, 2013. Inman and her husband George plan to relocate to Georgetown, Texas, next year. The school will determine its search process in the coming weeks.
