A woman jailed in St. Louis on an elder abuse charge could face more serious charges as a homicide investigation continues into the death of a man with whom she shared a home.
The 67-year-old man who died had numerous broken bones and was malnourished when he died. Police say the woman has admitted hitting him several times with hard objects.
