Chance Comer’s RBI single in the sixth inning broke a 1-1 tie and David Pennewell added an RBI double in the seventh as insurance to give Clever a 3-1 win over Summit Christian Academy in the third place game in Class 2 high school baseball. Pennewell picked up an RBI earlier in the day to give his team a 1-0 lead. He also pitched 5.1 innings to pick up the win while limiting Summit Christian to five hits and two walks while striking out five.
