The Joplin school board has hired a new company to finish tearing down the high-school blasted by last year’s tornado and hauling away the debris. The school district will use federal money and insurance proceeds to pay the $644,000 cost. The school district had hired a Georgia company to do that work but later terminated the contract for lack of progress. The company has a $2.2-million lawsuit pending againt the district
