One student’s trash is a non-profit organization’s treasure in Springfield where the things students don’t want to take home after the Spring semester at Missouri State University are collected and given to non-profit groups for sale or distribution. The Springfield News-Leader reports students donated 1700 pounds of their leftover food and 3200 pounds of clothes they didn’t want anymore when classes ended this year.
