Following his arrest on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident, the University of Missouri football program has suspended 2nd string quarterback Corbin Berkstresser until it is determined what if any charges will be pressed against the 20 year old Lee’s Summit native. Leaving the scene is typically a misdemeanor, unless it causes bodily injury and/or $1,000 in damage, which is the case in this accident. Berkstresser is suspected of hitting a parked car that shattered the back window and damaged the back bumper.
