Carlos Beltran homered twice, including a grand slam, and added all six RBIs for the Cardinals, who beat Arizona 6-1, handing the Diamondbacks their fourth loss in a row. Beltran also had one of the Cardinals’ five homers in their 9-6 win on Monday, and now has 10 on the season.

His first homer was a two-run shot off Ian Kennedy in the first, and then he cleared the bases with a shot into the swimming pool area in right-center in the second. That was his 10th career grand slam. Beltran’s latest performance comes a week after he went 4 for 5, including two homers, for a career-high seven RBIs against Pittsburgh. Beltran provided plenty of support for Jake Westbrook as he shut out the D-Backs over seven innings allowing just four hits.
