Police in Lee’s Summit are trying to identify a badly burned body discovered yesterday afternoon in a rural area north of the local airport. The body is that of a white, middle-aged man with a heavy build. It was discovered by a man renting a house in the area who noticed some tire tracks leading behind the house and followed them to the body. The cause of death is still being investigated, but police say it is being treated as a case of foul play.
