The House has approved legislation that would ease rules on shipping radioactive material through the state. An amendment to a massive transportation bill would mean companies would no longer pay $1,800 a container and $25 a mile to transport radioactive materials through the state, but would pay $1800 per truck. The proposal heads to the Senate.
