A federal judge has ordered the Ozark school district to give a high school student credit for work he did while suspended for 10 days. The district had only given half-credit to students for work done while suspended. The parents of the student filed the suit saying she was being punished twice for the same offense, once with the suspension and once with a grade reduction. She had been caught distributing a prescription drug.
