The St. Louis Cardinals will honor former manager Tony La Russa by retiring his #10 in a ceremony on May 11 prior to the Cardinals game against Atlanta. La Russa retired after leading the club to its 11th World Series title.  La Russa’s number will be the 12th retired in Cardinals history and first manager since Whitey Herzog’s #24 in 2010. La Russa has the franchise record for 1,408 wins with eight divisions, three NL pennants and two titles.
