The Missouri Chapter of the National Education Association says the House of Representatives “Don’t Say Gay” bill hurts schools’ anti-bullying efforts. Supporters of the bill say discussions of homosexuality should happen at home, not at school. The bill seeks to ban Gay-Straight Alliances from forming at public schools. Similar legislation in other states has been ruled unconstitutional by the courts
