Just under three months to go before the July 10th All-Star game at Kauffman Stadium and there are no tickets left for the general public through MLB or the Royals. Your best chance of getting a seat will be through a ticket broker and prices are soaring.

According to a story that ran in the Kansas City Star, for this year’s All-Star Game, prices ranged from $377 to $1,077. The Royals gave preference to season-ticket holders and put together packages for potential new fans.  With the All-Star Game and the potential of this young Royals team, season tickets went up 24 percent in the past two years.

If you are still interested in getting tickets for the game, you’ll have to go through a third party like a ticket broker. Be prepared to pay. $385 will get you a seat in the upper deck. Over $400 for standing room in the outfield. If you are a high roller, how about close to $20,000 for crown seats behind home plate.  Ticket prices
