Supporters of Congressman Ron Paul have taken all of the delegates at the St. Charles County Republican caucus. The first caucus on March 17 degenerated into such a disorderly event that it was called off with no votes taken.
Paul supporters dominated the caucus although he got only about 12 percent of the county’s votes in the presidential primary in February. The state Republican party had ruled the February results meant nothing.
