A former South-East Missouri sheriff will be sentenced in July for illegally dealing in firearms. Former Carter County Sheriff Tommy Adams has pleaded guilty to charges of possessing stolen firearms, one charge of selling a stolen firearm and a charge of being a drug-user possessing a firearm.
