Here’s your chance to get one of the most famous baseball cards ever made, but a Sunset Hills collectibles dealer expects big money for it.
The 1909 Honus Wagner card goes on the market tomorrow with an opening bid of 300-thousand dollars. Dealer Bill Goodwin is selling the card for a Houston, Texas businessman who has owned it for about thirty years.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports the card is one of only about 60 copies known to exist and one of only 22 that have been graded “very good” by the major grading companies in the business.
