A 12-year old girl from Fair Play has died at a Springfield hospital after being shot in the head. A 15-year old boy has surrendered to the Highway Patrol in Lee’s Summit.
Police say the boy had driven to the Kansas City area because his mother lives there. Investigators are releasing few details.
