The first suggested financial settlement in the tangled bankruptcy of the U-S Fidelis auto warranty company is likely to become more tangled as it goes along.  The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports the company has agreed to pay almsot $1.5 million dollars to 556 former employees.  Lawyers for the ex-employees will keep about a third of the settlement. But Attorney General Chris Koster objects to the settlement because some of the money will go to former employees that he blames for part of the collapse and cheated hundreds of policy holders. The two brothers behind U-S Fidelis were indicted nine months ago on fraud and stealing charges. They would not get any of the money.
