Oklahoma State used a 15-0 second-half run to beat the Missouri State Lady Bears 70-57 in the third-round of the Women’s NIT at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater, Okla.  The Cowgirls, who entered the game 16th nationally in field goal percentage defense, held the Lady Bears to 19-of-63 from the field for 30.2 percent shooting.  The Lady Bears end their season at 24-9, while OSU improves to 19-12 as it advanced to the quarterfinal round.

The Cowgirls had a six point lead at the break and OSU went on a 7-0 run for its largest lead at 42-31 with 15:40 to play before Karly Buer stopped it with a three-pointer.  Big 12 Freshman of the Year Liz Donohoe went on a personal 8-0 run, and the Cowgirls added seven more points to that before it was all said and done to complete a 15-0 run with a 57-37 lead and 11:05 left to play. The Lady Bears were not able to get closer than 12 points the rest of they way.
