Growing up in Brentwood, TN, just outside of Nashville, gave Scott Wells the opportunity to follow Jeff Fisher when he coached the Titans and Wells was always hopeful that one day he’d get the opportunity to play for Fisher. That was the biggest reason 6’2 300 pound Pro Bowler chose the Rams over the Green Bay Packers.

“Well, there were things involved through the negotiations, and also I was really looking forward to playing with Coach Fisher and following his career. I’m excited about this opportunity to step into this organization and to work with another great quarterback in Sam Bradford, I’m excited about that.” Keep in mind, Wells had the hands of Aaron Rodgers reaching under him for the last two seasons, which included a Super Bowl ring.

Wells thinks his experience, his consistency and hard work habits will make him a good fit for an offensive line that is looking for a leader. “I really study the film and study the playbook. I’m very consistent and I think that I bring a level of professionalism that can really help other guys be true professionals on and off the field. Really just try to do everything right in practice and it will carry over into the games.”
