Attorney General Chris Koster is sending Assistant Attorneys General into every county in the state during the week of March 26 to provide information to Missouri consumers about the national mortgage settlement. It’s when home buyers who might qualify to receive benefits under the program can register when his office. Missouri is part of a $156 million settlement to help Missouri homeowners who have been foreclosed on. The settlement was reached with five of the nation’s largest banks: Bank of America, Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, and Ally Financial / GMAC.
