The owner of a Gallatin grain company has been sentenced to six years in prison for defrauding customers out of more than $3 million.

The federal prosecutor says Gallatin Grain Company’s Daniel Froman used as much as 1,300 bushels of grain stored for others to pay his personal debts.

His wife is to be sentenced later.
