A wrongful death lawsuit has been filed against a Colorado cantaloupe-grower by the family of a Kansas City man who died last October.
The lawsuit says 92-year-old Paul Schwartz contracted listeria after eating cantaloupe produced by Jensen Farms of Colorado. Federal health investigators say contaminated cantaloupe from Jensen Farms led to 146 cases nationally of listeria, causing 30 deaths
